JOB CONTEXT :
On Saturday, 16 April 2016 23h58 UTC (18h58 local time) a 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck the coast of Equator at the depth of 19km in the north of the country, doing major human and material damages.
The Humanitarian Action Division of HI is starting to deploy an emergency intervention.
YOUR MISSION:
Under the Management of the Head of Mission or Coordinator of Operations, and with the technical supervision and support of the HQ Specific Needs Technical Advisor, as field Physiotherapist Technical Advisor, you will be in charge of recruitment of technical staff, provision of technical support to local staff and providing early rehabilitation to injured people, people with functional limitations, and overall people affected by the earthquake (through individual and/or group sessions, etc.), in coordination with other NGOs & Clusters.
YOUR PROFILE :
• You have experience in emergencies with INGOs
• You have at least 2 years of experience in physiotherapy of trauma patients
• You speak fluently Spanish and English
• You are flexible, adaptable and used to work in emergency contexts (living conditions, etc.)
• Previous experience with HI is a strong asset
