QC has been maintaining active present in Somali since 2007 through its field office in Mogadishu. It has a portfolio of programs focusing on both humanitarian and development sectors. Qatar Charity Somalia Program is seeking to recruit an Auxiliary Nurses in Burhakabo.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Carry out basic assessments of patients example, vital signs, B/P measurement, Pulse, Temperature, breathing monitoring, height and weight,
- Prepare patients for treatment
- Prepare equipment to use in the treatment
- Contribute to record keeping
- Implementing care as instructed by the Doctor, Nurse or Midwife
- Assist Nurses, midwives and doctor as required
- Carry-out any other duties and/or responsibilities assigned by his/her immediate supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Certificate/ diploma in medical/nurse courses
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 3 years experience in working in health programs in hardship areas
- Ability to work with multicultural team.
- Flexible, good communication skills and ability to work additional hours to ensure that the required results are achieved
- High reliability, objectivity and honesty
